Intro to Bullet Journaling
Greetings and salutations on this finally Friday.
I wanted to show you how I keep up with my schedule. I don't have kids at the moment so I don't have to keep up with multiple people's appointment, events, etc. but that doesn't mean that I'm twirling my thumbs all the time. Now I do manage to find enough time to watch my favorite tv shows but I'm trying to get away from that by creating this blog.
The Bullet Journal system was created by Ryder Carroll to manage the chaos of life. Please visit bulletjournal.com to watch the official bullet journal video because it will explain everything better than I can. I first starting seeing stuff about this unique planner system pop up on Pinterest. I've always loved pens, planners, and journals so I was intrigued as to what these pictures were all about. The pictures I was seeing were those of the amazing Kara Benz of bohoberry.com Her personal take on the bullet journal system inspired me to make my own.
The beauty of this journal/planner system is that every single one is different. Just like the people that make them. I've been using the 'BuJo' system since January of 2016 and have felt such a peace about knowing what's going on in my life. I know that things change and God's plan for my life is Way better than anything I can come up with, but I also feel that it's important not to waste your time by missing important things.
I love how supportive the planner community is. If you have questions or are unsure of a new spread your trying out, they are always giving positive feed back and encouragement. I'll be making bullet journaling one of my regular topics here on the blog. So be sure to stay tuned for more posts about this newly popular planning system.
Have you ever heard of Bullet Journaling? Did you think it was just writing in a journaling with an ink pen that looked like a bullet? Let me know in the comments below.
